Have a “Fantastic Fall” in September—join Westfield Southlake and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days. Our September Fun Days theme, Fantastic Fall, has kids exploring the colourful leaves and enjoying the first weeks of school.
On September 14, kids will read about a mouse that goes to school in the book “If You Take a Mouse to School” by Laura Numeroff, and then kids will go on an adventure with the modern classic “Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale” by Mo Willems. To get in the spirit of Knuffle Bunny, kids will make their very own sock puppet. Plus, all attendees on this day will receive a free ticket to FunFlatables valid from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
Join us on September 28 as kids read about the beautiful autumn leaves, apple picking and going on hayrides at the county fair in “Let It Fall” by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. In “Crazy Hair Day” by Barney Saltzberg, kids will learn about acceptance as they read about a hair-raising school situation that Stanley Birdbaum experiences. Kids will also make their own fall nature collecting jar, and enjoy a snack.
