“Fantastic Fall” At Westfield Broward With Free Westfield Family Fun Days For Toddlers September 26, 2012

Join Westfield Broward and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days! Our September Fun Days theme, Fantastic Fall, has kids exploring the colourful leaves and enjoying the first weeks of school.

Family Fun Days for Little Kids (2-5)
On September 12, kids will read about a mouse that goes to school in the book “If You Take a Mouse to School” by Laura Numeroff, and then kids will go on an adventure with the modern classic “Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale” by Mo Willems. To get in the spirit of Knuffle Bunny, kids will make their very own sock puppet.

On September 26, kids will read about the beautiful autumn leaves, apple picking and going on hayrides at the county fair in “Let It Fall” by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. In “Crazy Hair Day” by Barney Saltzberg, kids will learn about acceptance as they read about a hair-raising school situation that Stanley Birdbaum experiences.
