Patricia Justiniani McReynolds is the author of the book Almost Americans & has written books on childrens folk tales. She is also an artist and a retired teacher of History of Traditional Arts. Her book is a beautifully written account of growing up in America with a Filipino-born father and her Norwegian-born mother. Parking Permit Required for this event @ Miramar College

October 17, 2008 An Untold Triumph @ 6:30PM I 101 Invited Speaker: ~ Domingo Los Banos ~ Invited Guests: Filipina/o Americans for Veterans Equity (FAVE). Domingo Los Banos is an Associate Producer of this documentary. An Untold Triumph was been given numerous awards at film festivals. It tells the untold story of the courage and heroism of Filipino American World War II Veterans. The documentary also includes an appearance of and is narrated by Lou Diamond Phillips. Glen Paculba is a successful San Diego business owner. He grew up in the sugar plantations in Hawaii and is 3rd generation Filipino American. Mr. Paculbas intriguing story is now a soon to be released book which will highlight his family's story and will include various contributions of Filipino Americans in Hawaii.
