Family Survival: Fire October 10, 2010

Join Naturalist Mark Maeseele the second Sunday of each month for hands-on survival and disaster preparedness classes. In each class students will practice the skills needed to survive in different climates and ecosystems. Can you rub two sticks together and make a fire? If not, we'll look for plants that help us do just that. In October you will make your own fire kit to take home and practice your skills. Classes are for students 8 yrs. & up.
