Family Program: Once Upon A Time February 8, 2009

This concert will offer children an experience of both the orchestra and opera, showcasing the orchestra performing Bernstein's 'Candide' overture and Ravel's 'Mother Goose Suite' as well as a fully-staged children's opera, 'The Tailor of Gloucester' by MSM's President Robert Sirota. In addition, President Sirota will be both narrator, providing engaging discussion about the music performed, and conductor, leading an orchestra made up of students from MSM's College Division and Precollege Division.
