Unwind from your busy Thanksgiving with a peaceful evening at the Arboretum on November 26! Cap off your Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends as we explore the forest and look and listen for owls, flying squirrels, and other nocturnal mammals at the Arboretum. In addition to our moonlight hike in the woods guided by Arboretum Naturalists, we'll have refreshments for everyone including wine, beer, light bites and cheese as well as coffee and hot chocolate from Starbucks. Live owls from Wildlife Rehab & Education will be in attendance; event starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9. To register, go to http://www.houstonarboretum.org/family_owlprowl.asp.
Note: Ages 7 & up only. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for hike outside. In case of rain, event will be held inside. A bustling schedule of year round activities and courses are available for adults, children and families to create a sense of wonder and appreciation for nature.
