Family Fun Fest… Goes South of the Border September 19, 2009

Ring in the fall season with this annual event featuring games, blow up amusements, stage entertainment, crafts, prizes and more! This day has been proclaimed our official “Day of Play” in accordance with our new status as a “Playful City USA” and we want everyone to come out and celebrate with us! In addition to games and entertainment, there is also a “Discovery Zone” featuring community agencies who share information about their services with families while providing activities for the kids. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County are a co-sponsor of the event which is held in conjunction with the annual “Day for Kids” event – so this means twice the games, twice the prizes, and twice the fun for those who attend. Park department concessions will be available for purchase during the event – so plan to come spend a day with the kids at the park!
