Family Friday: Music and Magic with Great Zucchini and Rocknoceros March 12, 2010

This Friday March 12th, two superstars of the DC area kids scene come together in one fantastic evening! The Great Zucchini will be performing together with Rocknoceros at 6:30pm at the Children's Learning Center in Rockville.

The Great Zucchini is Washington's funniest and most magical PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN entertainer, with over 12 years of experience making kids laugh! The only kids performer who has ever performed at DC Improv, and called "instantly likeable, effortlessly charming" by The Washington Post, The Great Zucchini delights kids and their parents with his uniquely appealing brand of juvenile comic magic. In addition to regular performances at Jammin Java and Great Kids Village, he has entertained crowds at the White House Easter Roll, at the National Zoo, the 9:30 Club, several foreign embassies, and thousands of birthday parties.

Rocknoceros (music for kids and their parents too) has had a phenomenal year, voted NPR's "Best Family Music of 2009", featured in the Washington Post, with awards from the National Parenting Association, a Video on Demand deal with Cox Cable, steady airplay on XM Radio, rave reviews from Scholastic and School Library Journal, as well as huge concerts at the 9:30 Club, Wolftrap and the Smithsonian.
