Summer is over. But just when everybody else is bringing in their picnic tables, Jewish people go out into the brisk fall air to eat and celebrate the harvest festival of Sukkot. Explore the Beachwood City Park with special guest Mary Rouse Martin, Education Director of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes and learn how creatures big and small create homes for themselves in nature. Then, enjoy fall fruits in a real sukkah (festive harvest booth), create your own sukkah decorations, and carve a mini-pumpkin with your family.
