Think you are a ROC STAR???

Meet the REAL ROC Stars. Women and their families who compete daily with Ovarian Cancer. Celebrate with us as we run/walk to find a cure. Proceeds from the race go to FamiliesROC, a not-for-profit organization promoting health and wellness for ovarian cancer patients and their families. We support research, advocacy, and awareness and redistribute funds to the Washington University Research Group, the National Ovarian Cancer Alliance, and our local awareness organization SLOCA.
Course

The ROC Star 5K is officially timed by Big River Running, and is a accurately measured course. This is a lovely race, that winds through one of the gems of St. Louis, Queeny Park, both on road and gravel path. Family 1 mile fun run will immediately follow the 5K finish and is a flat, easy walking course.
Packet Pick Up

Packets, with long sleeve t-shirt, race number, and goodies can be picked up at Big River Running, 14059 Manchester Road, on Thursday, October 11 and Friday, October 12, from 10am to 8pm, or on race morning at the registration desk.
Prizes and Goodies

There will be cash prizes for the top 3 male/female finishers overall as well as medals for top 3 age group finishers. All participants who sign up by October 11 will receive long sleeve t-shirt and race goodie bag. Bring your friends and family out to support a great cause! Family 1 mile fun run will immediately follow the 5K finish.
Survivors

Survivors who walk/run will be given a special teal long sleeve t-shirt to designate their winning the battle as well as special treats and gifts. This is a race to celebrate the human spirit's ability to overcome odds, and we will be celebrating the survivors and their families so please come out and join us, walk/run with your fellow survivors and feel the joy and comradarie.
Race Day Fun

Come out and join us for a morning of fun and celebration. There will be bands, games, give-aways, food, and drink - So bring out your friends and family to celebrate the survivors!
