Fall Term Drawing Classes- Register Online October 3, 2011

Course Title: Drawing Innovations

Instructor: Lisa Gorlin

Develop awareness of the methods you use to observe the world while expanding creative insight. Cultivate an understanding of basic drawing techniques and the essential elements of contour, value, texture and composition. Gain the tools to express your inspiration and skills to extend into other art forms.


This class will not merely teach you how to draw, it will make you more aware of the methods you use to observe the world around you and how you communicate that information. It is geared towards teaching you how to see in order to draw and will awaken you to the techniques of visual interpretation, including shortcuts that will facilitate your natural ability to draw. Everyone has this ability, now you will gain the tools to express your inspiration!


Fall Term Class Schedule:

Mondays - October 3rd through November 14th:

Youth Class, Ages 11 through 14 - 4 to 5:30 pm.
Adult Class, Age 15 and up - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There will be a meeting for students and parents at 4 pm on Monday September 26th, so come and get your questions answered!
