Fall Star Party - In celebration of the 2009 International Year of Astronomy October 24, 2009

The Olin Observatory at Connecticut College will be open for telescopic star and planet viewing, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The observatory will be open no matter what the weather. Indoor activities include fall and winter constellation planetarium shows by the Children's Museum of SE CT, kids hands-on astronomical activities, and a talk by R. M. Maxwell of the Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport, talk titled "Celestial Navigation for Beginners".
