"Fall is Here" at Connecticut Post September 14, 2011

“Fall is Here” at Westfield Connecticut Post – for the month of September the Westfield Family program will feature fall-themed Westfield Family Fun Days, kid and family-friendly activities celebrating the new season.

On September 14th, kids will be treated to story time with “How Many Seeds in A Pumpkin,” by Margaret McNamara and G. Brian Karas and “Count Down to Fall” by Fran Hawk and Sherry Neidigh. Kids also will create a button fall wreath to take home and enjoy a healthy snack.

September 28th will feature story time books with “Red Leaf Yellow Leaf” by Lois Ehlert and “The Busy Little Squirrel” by Nancy Tafuri. Kids will enjoy another healthy snack, and create a fun wearable crown of leaves.
