Fall Colors, Farm Ruins and Turkeys Photo Hike October 9, 2010

Place: Rapids Lake Education and Visitor Center. Find colors galore as the trees, grasses, and flowers prepare for winter. This makes for some great photo opportunities. In addition, Rapids Lake is known for having an abundance of wild turkeys. If we are very lucky, we may encounter a few of these along the way. The Rapids Lake section of the refuge also contains an old mansion and the ruins of an old barn. There is no end to the great subject matter that is available. During the first 15 minutes we will discuss techniques for capturing great fall colors. If you are already experienced with shooting fall color, and want to skip the introduction join us at 8:15.
