Fall 2009 Lecture Series Explores the Science of Congaree! November 4, 2009

Did you know scientists come from far and wide to study Congaree National Park and its floodplain forest ecosystem? Would you like a chance to meet them, hear them talk about their discoveries, and ask questions? The Old-Growth Bottomland Forest Research and Education Center at Congaree National Park is pleased to announce the start of the Fall 2009 science lecture series. The goal of this lecture series is to provide a forum where park visitors, scientists, volunteers, staff, and community members can get together and learn about the many different research projects conducted at the park.
