The United Nations-mandated University for Peace is offering this two certificate granting courses in Washington, DC through their Center for Executive and Professional Development.

Corporate Social Responsibility (Dec. 10th):

This one-day course is designed for leaders (and aspiring leaders) interested in working in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The hands-on workshop makes the business and ethical case for CSR, recommends a leading United Nations CSR framework for implementing your strategy, and explores how to build strategic alliances in order to have an effective CSR Program.

Non-Profit Leadership: Maximizing Impact (Dec. 11th-12th):

The working environment in the nonprofit sector is changing at a rapid rate due to changes in society and at the workplace. As a result, leading and managing a nonprofit enterprise in this dynamic climate presents new opportunities as well as challenges. This 2-day workshop will focus on assessing your organization's current strategic plan, on pitching win-win partnerships to the private sector, on evaluating revenue generating opportunities, and on developing skills for effective nonprofit.
