FAIRY TALES - Some Assembly Required October 3, 2009

Your kids decide the story line in this new interactive musical. FAIRY TALES - SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED is filled with memorable songs and colorful costumes. The professional cast of children and adults present a different and delightful musical each week depending upon the children’s choices.

This is the adventure of Alex (a boy or a girl) who goes in search of his/her sister who is lost in the Enchanted Forest. Alex meets up with cracked characters including a not so magical Merlin the Magician, a jaded witch in a Sleeping Beauty tourist attraction, and a felonious Goldie Locks.

Creator America Young was inspired by her younger brother’s enjoyment of the “Choose-Your-Own Adventure” book series. Originally produced as a play in March 2002, this show returns to the Secret Rose Theatre debuting as a musical on October 3, 2009.

The Secret Rose Theatre is located at 11246 Magnolia Blvd. (between Lankershim and Tujunga, west of Lankershim) in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, 91601. Parking is available in a public lot across from Klump Ave. or on the street.
