Fairfax Saxophone Quartet: A Touch of Latin April 24, 2009

The Fairfax Saxophone Quartet, an ensemble of the City of Fairfax Band Association, presents "A Touch of Latin" on Friday, April 24 at 8 p.m. at Old Town Hall, 3999 University Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. From Baroque to Modern, the Fairfax Saxophone Quartet is "Classi-Jazz," demonstrating the amazing versatility of the saxophone to Washington, D.C. audiences since 1985. This performance features suites, tangos and tunes from the rich cultures of Mexico, Cuba, and Spain as part of Fairfax's 24th annual Spotlight on the Arts Festival, a three-week long presentation of music, dance, theater and visual arts in and around the City of Fairfax. Free admission.
