Introducing the first of a series of FailChats, based on the groundbreaking FailCon: the first conference ever to focus on the ins and outs of business failure, and how to prepare.

What do Flickr, YouTube, and Nintendo all have in common? They each went through a pivot: the act of a company drastically changing their product and/or business plan to attract a larger and/or more profitable market to avoid bankruptcy or business failure.
