Faces: Chuck Close and Contemporary Portraiture October 10, 2009

Contemporary American artist Chuck Close is celebrated for his successful efforts to bring new life to the field of portraiture. He has developed a distinct, unique process for his work that departs sharply from traditional portraiture. In addition to Close's work, the exhibit will include portraits from artists such as Andy Warhol, Cindy Sherman and Gerhard Richter.
