Chicago-born rapper "F. Stokes" rose to local stardom by way of his notoriously popular mixtapes. Moving to Brooklyn in 2003 Stokes landed an internship at Def Jam, which led to his work behind scenes. Leaving the industry side to focus on his own craft, he signed with Brooklyn Bridge and worked such artists as Kanye West, N'dea Davenport of the Brand New Heavies and Black Rob.
