Eyvind Kang and Jessika Kenney make their first Denver appearance at the Museum of Contemporary Art with support from Denver’s premier chamber group, The Playground Ensemble. Kang and Kenney have a profound intimacy in their work, combining ancient music with modern, cutting-edge influences for a sound both rooted in tradition and of other worlds. Kang has performed and recorded with artists as varied as Bill Frisell, John Zorn, Laurie Anderson, Blonde Redhead, and Mr. Bungle.
