Award-winning wildlife photographer Suzi Eszterhas, one of the few women in her field, specializes in traveling around the world to photograph species including penguins, lions, gorillas, grizzlies, and sea otters. Hear Eszterhas share memorable anecdotes and technical expertise from her time in the field-how she journeyed to Antarctica to capture six different species of penguin, how she composed photos while on the back of an elephant in India, how she stayed safe when working on foot with grizzly bears, and how photographers-professional and amateur alike-can help to raise awareness of the problems facing wildlife today.
Suzi Eszterhas is a fellow of the prestigious International League of Conservation Photographers. Her work has been featured on the cover of Time magazine, in Smithsonian, and on ABC.com and Today.com. She is the author of the Eye on the Wild series, six books for children that combine photographs and informative text. Each follows one species from birth to adulthood. Eszterhas also leads photography tours around the world (www.suzieszterhas.com).
