E-Business Summit

Extend 2007 is an e business summit that is being organized by the PGPeBusiness students of the
Welingkar Institute of Management. The course was introduced to blend the two, once thought as diverse
but now interwoven, fields of Business Management & Technology. The e-Business course comprises of a
range of special technology-driven classes that arms the students with a skill set that gives them an extra
edge to excel in e-Business. The emphasis here lays on teaching how to utilize technology as a means to
an end and not an end in itself.
The summit – extend 2007 is being conducted with the intention of providing an interactive space
for the top notch professionals from the business world to discuss the contemporary issues relevant to the
e- Business industry in India and the world over.
With e-business as the mantra, Extend 2007 will be a platform for strategic thinkers from across
all sectors to share their thoughts and views on undertaking a holistic approach to building an e-enabled
business and gaining a competitive advantage.
The summit proposes to have the following themes up for discussion by the eminent panel.
