“Expressions” Art Exhibit and Silent Auction October 6, 2011

Wilmington, DE- The culmination of Elwyn Delaware’s efforts to promote the artwork of disabled artists throughout the state of Delaware for the past three years will result in “Expressions” Art Exhibit and Silent Auction on Thursday, October 6, 2011 to be held at the Delaware Art Museum on Kentmere Parkway in Wilmington, DE from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. The event will serve as the opening night of the exhibit which will display artwork submitted from various organizations statewide and run from October 8, 2011 until November 13, 2011.

The proceeds of the event will go towards funding individuals at Elwyn Delaware by providing scholarship and funding assistance to those that need it most. All of the artwork will be part of a silent auction with the proceeds of the selling price being split between Elwyn Delaware and the artist. First Lady Carla Markell will once again be the honorary chair of the event.
