Details: 5 Michigan photographers will exhibit their work which features a unique look at Detroit and the surrounding area.

More details: Exposure.Detroit launches a new photography exhibit with a grand opening celebration in Royal Oak. The 5 featured photographers will be on hand to unveil their work in a night of art and entertainment taking place on Friday, March 7th from 7pm to 10pm at the Bean & Leaf Cafe, 106 S. Main St, Royal Oak. The Bean & Leaf Cafe is a new coffeehouse that opened its doors in August of 2007 - next to Memphis Smoke in downtown Royal Oak.

The 5 featured photographers are Ryan Southen, Ledio, Keith Burgess, Vanessa Miller and Dave Haupt. The show opens to the public on March 7th, runs through April and will feature a wide range of styles and subjects by these Detroit area photographers.

The artists are members of a photography group called Exposure.Detroit, whose periodic exhibits are designed to give talented, aspiring Michigan photographers an opportunity to be seen by a wider audience. Exposure.Detroit is a group of 700+ Michigan photographers and artists that was formed online in 2006. The group helps to enhance each other's knowledge of photography, create lasting friendships and build a solid network of local resources.
