n line with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation’s public consultation exploring social evils, the panel will look at whether there has been a rise in individualism in UK society.

At the turn of the century Joseph Rowntree set up his three trusts and identified the worst social evils of the time. In 2007 the Joseph Rowntree Foundation asked the public to consider what social evils face the UK today.
