Exploring the Magical Animal Kingdom at Westfield Fox Valley June 29, 2011

Westfield Fox Valley’s Westfield Family program presents The Magical Animal Kingdom for the month of June, featuring Westfield Family Fun Days designed to help kids learn about animals in the wild and in their own backyards. At these free, family-friendly activities, kids will play, create and learn about animals.

June 1 will feature story time with “Moose Tracks!” by Karma Wilson and Jack E. Davis, and “Bear Snores On” by Karma Wilson. Kids also will create tissue paper teddy bears to take home and enjoy a fun and healthy snack.

On June 22, the kids will decorate easy-to-assemble bird houses, have story time with “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” by Eric Carle and “The Lion and The Mouse” by Jerry Pinkney, and enjoy another healthy snack.
