Exploring the Gardens of Wonderland: An Illustrated Talk by Horticulturist Robert Hornback April 9, 2011

Follow horticulturist Bob Hornback through the Gardens of Wonderland and learn about The Queen of Hearts and her roses and The Garden of Live Flowers. We will also discuss Walt Disney’s interest in Lewis Carroll’s book and John Tenniel’s illustrations and how the classic was adapted into the Disney film that we all know and love. Following this program we will screen Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. Don’t be late!
