TOPIC: Exploring the Benefits of Lifelong Learning: The SFU Seniors Program
DESCRIPTION: Lifelong learning is one of the best ways to stay healthy, active, and engaged in later life. Are you aware that Simon Fraser University has one of the most successful lifelong learning programs for seniors in British Columbia?
This presentation will offer an overview of the program, exploring the many different courses, free forums, and outreach programs that will be offered this fall.
SPEAKER: Julian Benedict, Coordinator, SFU Seniors Program. Julian manages course scheduling, marketing, retention and advancement for the SFU Seniors Program. Julian also writes articles regularly on lifelong learning for publications such as Senior Living Magazine.
