Explore the Animal Kingdom at Westfield Connecticut Post June 8, 2011

Westfield Connecticut Post’s Westfield Family program presents The Magical Animal Kingdom for the month of June, featuring Westfield Family Fun Days designed to help kids learn about animals in the wild and in their own backyards. At these free, family-friendly activities, kids will play, create and learn about animals.

June 8th will feature story time with “Moose Tracks!” by Karma Wilson and Jack E. Davis, and “Bear Snores On” by Karma Wilson. Kids also will create tissue paper teddy bears to take home and enjoy a fun and healthy snack. The Milford Public Library will also be on hand to join in on the fun.

On June 29th, the kids will decorate easy-to-assemble bird houses, have story time with “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” by Eric Carle and “The Lion and The Mouse” by Jerry Pinkney, and enjoy another healthy snack.
