Join Westfield Annapolis for “Outer space” – for the month of November the Westfield Family program will feature outer space-themed Westfield Family Fun Days, kid and family-friendly activities focusing on stars and space.
On November 2, kids will be read to from “I Want to Be an Astronaut” by Byron Barton” and “Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me” by Eric Carle, design their own papier-mâché telescopes to take home, and enjoy a healthy snack. This day will also be the launch of WFamily KidCare, a complimentary new family amenity available exclusively at Westfield Annapolis, located on level one in the Pottery Barn Court adjacent to the new Play Space. WFamily KidCare is a colorful, fully contained space filled with kid-sized comforts and loads of activities. From interactive play with a Wii to storybooks, puzzles to arts and crafts, little ones will love their time spent at WFamily KidCare.
November 16, will feature story time with “A Is for Astronaut: Exploring Space from A to Z” by Traci N. Todd and Sara Gillingham; “Roaring Rockets (Amazing Machines)” by Tony Mitton and Ant Parker; and “On the Moon” by Anna Milbourne, Laura Fearn and Benji Davies. Kids will decorate outer space foam glasses, put together a rocket flinger flyer, and enjoy a healthy snack.
