Exploit Boston is hosting three bands at the Paradise Lounge on Tuesday, January 31st. Doors open at 8PM and the first band goes on at 9PM. Be one of the first twenty people to get there early (by 8:30 PM) and we'll buy you a drink. It's 18+ and $7. You can also buy tickets online through Music Today.
Uncle Shaker is an Americana band from Somerville. I saw them for the first time at The Burren a few months ago and they were outstanding. They're probably not what you'd expect to see at a "rock club" in Boston; but they are very good!
Next up is The Curtain Society from Worcester who finally (!!) have a new album out called "Every Corner of the Room." I've been a fan of theirs since the mid-1990s but for whatever reason, I've never actually seen them live. No better way to finally see them than to ask them to play a show for Exploit Boston!
Tom Thumb & The Latter Day Saints wrap up the evening with their own flavor of indie rock. My favorites are "Gracie's Mine" and their cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Atlantic City."
