Experience Valley’s Top 12 Food Trucks All in One Place at Vistancia April 6 April 6, 2013

Come and explore Vistancia during its annual Food Truck Experience from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6 located throughout the community’s new home neighborhoods.

The West Valley’s only food truck tour event is free and open to the first 2,000 guests. Start the gourmet food truck experience at Vistancia’s Information Center, 12026 W. Lone Mountain Parkway in Peoria to receive a community map and six free food sample tickets.

Enjoy seeing the newest in home design and touring models by builders K. Hovnanian Homes, Meritage Homes, Shea Homes, Taylor Morrison and T.W. Lewis by David Weekley Homes. Guests will enjoy complimentary food tastings from gourmet food trucks featuring Sandra Dee’s Creole and Cajun Food, Satay Hut, Hao Bao Gourmet Chinese Food, Hey Joe! Filipino Street Food, Island Loco, Q Up! BBQ, Spice It Up!, Emerson Fry Bread, Paletas Betty, Mojo Bowl, Torched Goodness and Sweet Jonez Cupcakes.

Specialty food offerings will range from Creole gumbo, pork satay with spicy peanut sauce, seafood dumplings, organic mung beans with spinach and rice, pork tacos, Cambodian ginger beef curry, fry bread tacos with carne asada to homemade fruit smoothies, specialty flavored mini crème brûlée, gourmet mini cupcakes, and Mexican seasonal fruit popsicles.

Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia will feature tours of the private country club and an active chef station offering blackened shrimp with andouille sausage over goat cheese and roasted poblano grits samples located in the courtyard of the stunning hacienda-style clubhouse.

Vistancia is located in Peoria set amongst a stunning backdrop of mountain ranges featuring dramatic views of White Peak, Twin Buttes and the Bradshaw Mountains in pristine desert surroundings. A second community entrance and exit is available, providing both north and south access. Take Loop 303 to the Lone Mountain Parkway (exit 127).
