Exhibit Opening: Take Our Stand: the African American Military Experience in the Age of Jim Crow February 5, 2010

Join us at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia for the opening of a new exhibition chronicling the pivotal role of African Americans in the U.S. military from the Spanish-American War through World War II. Organized by the American Civil War Center, Take Our Stand features rare images from the Center’s John H. Motley Collection.
