Exhibit: Love of Art February 2, 2007

Works of art literally pinned into place in the Directors Gallery of the Las Cruces Museum of Art will celebrate For the Love of Art Month, 2007, opening Friday, Feb. 2 and running through Saturday, Feb. 27. A reception for the artists will be held on Friday, Feb. 2 from 5 7 pm., as part of the monthly Art Ramble in the downtown mall. All Museum of Art exhibits and receptions are accessible and free of charge.



The Love of Art exhibit is an annual event, with a new theme each year. This years theme is push-pin art, with all submissions unframed and mounted by push-ins, or even actually made of push pins. Works in the exhibit are all by artists of Dona Ana County, NM.



North & South of the Border, the works of Antonio Castro, Gaspar Enriquez and Diana Molina, will be on exhibit in the Main Gallery of the Museum from Friday, Feb. 2 Saturday, April 7.
