The Scarlet Knight (also known as RU27), an 8-foot autonomous underwater underwater robotic vehicle - or "glider", traveled from New Jersey to Spain, tracing the 517-year-old path of Columbus's ship, the Pinta. Spearheaded by undergraduate students from Rutgers University, this underwater expedition has provided data to help scientists better understand how climate change is affecting the ocean. The Museum will extend its hours until 7:30 pm on certain dates. Please see website for details.
