Exciting events next week at Habitot Children's Museum! July 25, 2007

“LGBT Parents” Parent-to-Parent Café
Every Wednesday of the month, Habitot Children’s Museum’s Parenting Education staff and invited experts will facilitate informal gatherings to nurture parents, build skills and increase knowledge about early childhood development. A hands-on art activity will be available for children. Refreshments included for adults and children. Donation of $3 is suggested. Parents are welcome to attend any of the drop-in programs. The next café for LGBT Parents is on July 25th, at 10:30 am.

Habitot’s “Childproofing Your Home” Safety Event
On Saturday, July 28, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Rachel Murray from Safe and Sounds Kids will provide professional advice on how to childproof your home. Studies show about 2-1/2 million children are injured or killed by hazards in the home each year, and many of these incidents can be prevented by using simple child safety devices on the market today.
