The premier of a public broadcasting series “Inside the Nursing Crisis,” produced by WCNY-AXXESS and underwritten by Excelsior College. Program excerpts followed by a panel discussion on key topics addressed in the program. Panelists include:

There is widespread recognition that the U.S. is facing a serious shortage of registered nurses as baby boomers age and the need for health care grows. In addition, a shortage of nursing faculty around the country has slowed the pace of nursing education – despite strong demand from students.
