Art on the Lake
Saturday, June 9 • 10:00 to 6:00 and Sunday, June 10 • 10:00 to 4:00
The 27th annual “ART ON THE LAKE” festival will be held on the south shore of beautiful Lake Minnetonka at the Excelsior Commons Park. Rain or shine! Long touted as one of the premiere art fairs in the midwest, Art on the Lake has over 200 juried artisans exhibiting their work which includes oil paintings, jewelry, pottery, watercolors, clothing, photography, and much more. Children can enjoy the day-long free art activity center, as well as the wandering magicians and face-painters. A wide variety of refreshments will be available from the many food vendors and concession stands.

FREE SHUTTLE BUS
Historic Excelsior is located just 10 minutes west of I-494, via Highway 7. The art festival offers free shuttle bus service every 20 minutes from these convenient locations:
Minnetonka High School: Located on the south frontage road of Hwy. 7 between Hwy. 101 and Vine Hill Road
Minnetonka Middle School West: Two blocks south of Highway 7 on County Road 41 (Hazeltine Blvd.)

ENTERTAINMENT
Strolling minstrels MAK DERVO & SCOTTY HAYWARD can be heard around the fair with their repertoire of Caribbean, American and original tunes on Sunday 10–4.
The Celtic duo Fiddler’s Green performs Saturday 11–5 and Sunday 10–4 with Irish jigs, reels, hornpipes and airs and an occasional old time song.
AMY & ADAM are an accoustic duo that perform an engaging combination of original and cover folk and pop tunes. Saturday 11–5 and Sunday 11–4.
Paul imholte strolling musical stringman will perform both Saturday and Sunday 10–4.
DEAN FRANZEN, juggler and entertainer with a theatrics and a twist of comedy will perform Saturday 10–4 and Sunday 11–4.
n GREG HERRIGES guitarist, singer, songwriter will play his accoustic assortment of world, progressive and classical music on Saturday and Sunday 11–4.

BOAT RIDES
On Saturday and Sunday boat excursions on Lake Minnetonka will depart from the Port of Excelsior.
