#evfn is a weekly social gathering organized primarily over Twitter. It stands for East Valley Friday Nights and yes, you are invited.

This week we're headed back to Whole Foods. I say "back" because we've been here before. It's fantastic and is a regular stop for us. In fact, we're thinking of making this our "last Friday's" stop each month. I'm working my tail off to get us discounts on beer, wine & some great grub!

Now you may think that a grocery store sounds like an odd place to hold a social gathering where the primary objective is to have a few beers with friends. But that's because you haven't been to THIS grocery store.

We'll meet in the Tapas bar. Yes, a grocery store with a bar. See?

Remember the agenda: no agenda. Have fun. Meet people. Party on!

YEAH! This is the hardcore group I've been waiting to see! I am tired of those black-hooded vermin infiltrating out peaceful society. It is about time we scare them off, and as the initials say, "Eating Velociraptors Frightens Ninjas". But then, who wouldn't it frighten?

I hope there is teriyaki, because I hear those things just don't BBQ up well.

@spellwight suggested we all head down to see TAKEN (Liam Neeson kicking major a$$)at Chandler Mall Harkins at 9:30PM as an extension of this #evfn. I love the idea and will be attending BOTH. :) Anyone else?
