#evfn is a weekly social gathering organized primarily over Twitter. It stands for East Valley Friday Nights and yes, you are invited.
The crew last week decided to keep it up north for a while (to celebrate Xmas? More like Boxing Day), so we're doing it at Carlsbad Tavern. I assume they have good beer. And I assume that bats will come flying out in formation on cue.
OH! And Evo's mom (Vickie1948) is coming! So you'll get to see just why he's as screwed up as he is. He even writes about himself in the third person.
Don't forget: our primary objective it to hang out with cool and unusual people for a couple of hours. There is *no* agenda. Show up. Say hi. Oh, and tell us your Twitter name.

Will probably need the break after having kids and husband home all this week. Not to mention the onslaught of family drama. We shall see if I can sneak off...
I agree with Dani. I can't promise anything, but I will definitely put in the effort to sneak away from kidlets to attend this one 'cuz hey, I don't have to drive out to BFE that Friday. :) Plus, Carlsbad Tavern is like 5 minutes away from me.
I'm going to be in California for this one. Maybe next time.
Working on the babysitter thang... as usual.
After consulting Google, I have determined that yes - Scottsdale is in fact part of the east valley.
I'm going, and so is Tyson, but I can't seem to RSVP by the button above... it must not want me to go.
You show RSVPd, Jamie.
Are you allowed to go if you don't live in the east valley? I don't think I can make it. But it's possible I can bring my mom, too.
Of COURSE you can come hummingcrow (your Mom too). ANYONE is welcome.
Hey, when is there going to be something on the WEST side?
Hehe, well there's a reason it's called East Valley Friday night! ;-) However, they are still pretty West side for me! :-)

Huh... I thought EVFN stood for Exaggerating Vehicles Fleeing Notoriety. The things you learn on teh internets just never ceases to amaze me.
