: The neighborhood restaurant eVe in downtown Berkeley is throwing a Peruvian Independence Day celebration on Thursday July 28. The party will take place on the newly renovated back patio from 5:30 to 7pm with cocktail specials, beer and wine at the cash bar and complimentary passed appetizers.
Co-owner/Chef Veronica Laramie, a Peruvian native, will feature authentic Peruvian food and specialty cocktails such as the Passion Fruit-Sake Sour in a fun and lively atmosphere. The back lounge, which was just recently re-opened for summer, has room for 40 with low-slung tables, wicker chairs, and heat lamps to provide guests with a beautiful environment to enjoy their festive drinks and snacks.
After the party ends, guests are invited to stay for dinner in the restaurant which will feature Peruvian-inspired dishes.
