Everyday MVPs go to bat for Boston youth
YMCA of Greater Boston gala Nov. 16

BOSTON | The Oak Square YMCA will be transformed Nov. 16 into a vibrant playground as the YMCA of Greater Boston hosts its Everyday MVPs celebration.

At this annual fundraiser, guests will participate in Boston sports-themed games, enjoy a synchronized swimming demonstration, and watch a traditional lion dance by Chinatown Y members. Honoring Boston’s recent history as Title Town, each major sports team – Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots – will be represented at the event with games like virtual baseball and air hockey.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Y and its programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y is committed to helping people live longer, healthier lives. The Y includes 13 branches throughout Greater Boston.
The Everyday MVPs celebration begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Oak Square YMCA, 615 Washington St., Brighton. Tickets are $500. For more information or to purchase tickets visit www.ymcaboston.org or contact Kelley Rice at 617-929-8127 or by email krice@ymcaboston.org.
