This event will showcase performances by Metroplex women, bringing attention to the V-Day Worldwide Campaign and the Fort Worth V-Day efforts to end violence against women and girls.
Proceeds from the local efforts will benefit FREEDOM HOUSE of Parker County and the V-Day Worldwide Campaign for Iraqi women surviving domestic and wartime violence.
?eVeryDAY a Woman? performers will include:
Singer/songwriters Tracie Merchant and Gigi Cervantes; poets Natasha Carrizosa, m.m. harris, and Glenda Bradley; musician/vocalists Devin Adams and Yashika Vaughn, and writer/performance artists Lori Thomson, Martha Whitehouse, Yvonne Duque, Tammy Gomez, La Femme Poets and aPOCHAlypse.
Digital art by Kat Thornton, Kathy O?Brien, and Martha Whitehouse; photography by Peggy Kelsey; and work by collage-artist Angelique Dominguez will also be exhibited.
