The Gail Borden Public Library premieres this production, commissioned from actress Mich'le LaRue, who performs three insightful tales by Illinois novelist Edith Wyatt. These conjure up the men and women of Burnham's Chicago with subtle understanding and sympathetic humor. Mich'le LaRue, a native of Chicago's northwest suburbs, specializes in performances of American literature of this period-when authors penned stories for the ear, and families gathered to share them aloud.
