Open Doors to New Business Opportunities:
Get Certified as a Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise

If you are a business owner, you know how the downturn in the economy is adversely affecting your business. If you have not sold to government, it is time to explore this lucrative avenue to sell your product or services.

Asian Women In Business (AWIB) and the Office of the Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer are holding a workshop on Minority and Women Business Enterprise Certification for Minority owned businesses. This workshop will walk you through the requirements for becoming certified to contract with New York City government and show you how to leverage certification to grow your business.

NYC buys $16.5 Billion worth of products and services every year. Learn how to increase your ability to compete successfully in contracting opportunities so you can get a piece of the action.

The April 1st workshop is designed to assist Minority Business owners (women and men) looking for new avenues to sell their products/services. Light refreshments will be provided.
