The Tigard Public Library's Evening Book Group will discuss Rick Steber’s novel Buy the Chief a Cadillac on Wednesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. In spare, honest and picturesque language, Rick Steber sets this award-winning novel on the Klamath Indian reservation in 1961 just days before the tribe's "termination" by the U. S. government.
The evening book group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Grace Tigard Houghton Room on the second floor of the Library. The Tigard Public Library is located at 13500 S.W.
