European Union: Crisis to Crisis to an Uncertain Future Course/Class March 7, 2012

Why is there so much bad news from Europe lately? This course takes a behind-the-scenes look into the on-going debt crisis of the European Union (EU) and what it means for the future of the European project. Participants will be provided with a straight-forward introduction to the institutions and treaties of the EU. Not only will you learn to analyse European integration, but you will also learn the basic concepts of global political economy that are necessary to understand the silent power of money in politics.
