‘The doyen of British cellists’ (The Strad) and cellist wife Jiaxin join the exuberant forces of the European Union Chamber Orchestra for an evening steeped in the brightest and most infectious of music making. Lloyd-Webber is the nation’s cellist, indeed who can forget his performance at the Olympic Closing Ceremony atop a faux Albert Hall? This concert finds him firmly back on terra firma and performing in a glorious selection of pieces, including sumptuous works by Vivaldi and Mozart.
